The WYVERN Certified Broker Certification

Business leader Edgar Alacan studied at Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, New York, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business management. A co-founder of Jets.com, a premier private jet travel provider, Edgar Alacan is the managing director, oversees the company’s sales department, and handles its day-to-day operations. In 2021, Jets.com became the first WYVERN Certified Broker in North America.

WYVERN is an aviation safety risk management and training group that created The Wingman Standard, a rigorous vetting standard for air charter operators. One of the certifications issued by WYVERN to operators that pass The Wingman Standards is the Certified Broker.

The WYVERN Certified Broker certification is given to air charter operators who pass WYVERN’s virtual audit that assess the degree of compliance of their policies, processes, and procedures to WYVERN’s high ethical standards. The Certified Broker certification assures the clients about an air charter operator’s commitment to safety.

Certified Brokers provide their clients with a verification process called the PASS program. The PASS or Pilot and Aircraft Safety Survey program creates a report that provides critical information about a specific flight, such as the jet operator, the aircraft, and the assigned crew. This information may be printed or emailed to the clients. The PASS report may be used to verify compliance with The Wingman Standard.
