The Hawker 400XP
Edgar Alacan co-founded and built Jets.com, a multi-million-dollar private jet charter company, from the ground up in 2008. Today, Edgar Alacan and Jets.com supply various turboprop planes and jet charters of all sizes, including light jets such as the Hawker 400XP.
Thanks to its highly innovative square-oval design, the Hawker 400XP has the most spacious cabin in its flight class. Its 305 cubic feet of interior space offer exceptional head and shoulder room. The Hawker 400XP is also one of the fastest private jets on the market, and features acoustic-blanket soundproofing. These attributes, among others, have helped to make the Hawker 400XP the best-selling jet in the Beechcraft family.
Beechcraft based the Hawker 400XP on designs for a jet called the MU-300 Diamond by Japan’s Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. After buying these designs from Mitsubishi, Beechcraft revised them for years before putting them into production. The resulting plane, the Beechjet 400, underwent many significant design revisions to ultimately become the Hawker 400XP.
